Digital Marketing Intern

As we are passionate about development, we are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern for the Spring semester (Jan-May) to support our digital marketing objectives to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns that boost brand engagement and increase revenue.   
  
In this role, you will work directly with the CEO to develop digital marketing strategies and identify creative ways to spread awareness about our company and drive sales. Ultimately, a successful Digital Marketing intern with our company is a self-starter who is eager to apply existing knowledge and excited about developing new skill competencies.  
  
Responsibilities:  

  • Performs digital marketing research  
  • Provides support with the creation and distribution of compelling social media content.  
  • Stays up to date with current technologies and trends in digital marketing, social media, design tools and applications  
  • Assists with the design and execution of digital marketing campaigns  
  • Creates weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites and digital marketing platforms  
  • Tracks social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability  
  • Assists on influencer engagement and campaign strategy  
  • Responds to comments and DMs on social media platforms  
  • Brainstorms and researches ideas for original content  
  • Helps create and edit short-form videos  
  • Ensures consistent brand message  
  
  
Required Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Pursuing undergraduate degree in marketing, digital marketing or related field  
  • Working knowledge of the major social media platforms including LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube   
  • Some experience in content management  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills  
  • Excellent research skills  
  • Basic copywriting skills  
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)  
  • Proficient in MS Office or similar productivity and collaboration software  
  • Some experience with image/video editing software  
  
We'd love it if you had (but it's not required):  

  • Graphics or creative design  
  • Some experience with content management systems  
  • Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance  
  • Familiarity with content scheduling tools  
  
While this is an unpaid internship, you can expect to receive:  

EXPERIENCE  
  • Hands-on experience supporting the marketing strategy and objectives for a coaching and consulting firm.  
  • A minimum of 100 hours of applied experience (approximately 10 hours per week)

  • Exposure to real world, business situations to apply your classroom learning

This is a fully remote position. Applicants can reside anywhere in the United States.

Applicants must be able to supply their own computing device and be comfortable working in a remote setting.
